Why we keep the human in the approval step
A model that changes a schedule without asking is a liability. A model that prepares the change and explains it is leverage. The difference is one explicit click.
Every tool we build has the same shape at the point of decision: the system prepares, a person approves.
That is not a hedge against the technology. It is what makes the output usable. An engineer signing off on a schedule change is accountable for it; the tool is not. If the tool moves the date, accountability has nowhere to land.
So the recommendation arrives with its basis: the inputs, the assumption that drove it, and what would have to be true for it to be wrong. Then someone accepts, edits or rejects it, and their name is on the result.
